APOSS Intermediate Exam Pattern 2026

The students need to go through the APOSS Inter exam pattern 2026 before appearing in the examination. The exam pattern is generally the structure of the examination. Here, we have shared the subject-wise exam pattern for the students.

APOSS Intermediate English Exam Pattern

The APOSS inter-English question paper will include passage reading, story writing, letter writing, email writing etc. The question paper will be divided into four sections.

• Section 1: Prose and Poetry

• Section 2: Study Skills

• Section 3: Grammar

• Section 4: Communicative Skills

There will be 1 mark, 2 marks, 3 marks, 4 marks and 5 marks questions. Students will get 3 hours to solve the paper. They must read the question paper carefully and answer all the compulsory questions.

APOSS Intermediate Maths Exam Pattern

The APOSS Inter Maths exam pattern is divided into two parts, Part A and Part B. However, Part A will be further divided into four sections while Part B will consist of optional questions. Check out the table below to learn about the marking scheme:

APOSS Inter Physics Exam Pattern

The Physics theory paper will carry 80 marks and it will be divided into three sections.

• There will be 2 marks, 5 marks and 8 marks questions.

• Students will get internal choice questions.

APOSS Inter Chemistry Exam Pattern

The Chemistry APOSS inter-exam pattern will consist of 3 sections.

• Students will be required to answer all the questions in Section A.

• Sections B and C will consist of internal choice questions.

APOSS Intermediate Biology Exam Pattern

As per the APOSS Inter June/July model paper, the Biology theory paper will carry 80 marks, while the remaining 20 marks will be carried by the practicals. In the case of diagrams, students must draw diagrams with labelling.

APOSS Inter History Exam Pattern

The APOSS Intermediate History paper will carry 100 marks in total. Students will get internal choice questions and a mandatory map-based question. They must attach the map to their answer sheet and submit it to the examiner.

APOSS Intermediate Political Science Exam Pattern

The APOSS Inter Political Science paper will be divided into four sections, and each section will carry different marks.

• Section A will carry 8-mark questions

• Section B will carry 4-mark questions

• Section C will carry 2-mark questions

• Section D will consist of 1 mark questions

APOSS Inter Economics Exam Pattern

The APOSS intermediate Economics paper will consist of 2 parts, A and B. Students will be required to answer all the questions from Part A, while Part B questions will be from the optional module.

• Part A will consist of four sections.

• Part B will be divided into two groups, A and B. Students can choose to attempt either one.

APOSS Intermediate Commerce/Business Studies Exam Pattern

The APOSS Inter-Commerce/Business Studies paper will be divided into four sections. In each section, there will be two more optional sections. Students can answer either option 1 or option 2 from each section.

APOSS Inter Accountancy Exam Pattern

The APOSS Inter Accountancy paper will be conducted for 3 hours, and it will consist of 100 marks. The question paper will be divided into four sections. While answering the questions, students must ensure not to exceed the line limit:

• Section A (limit: 40 lines each)

• Section B (limit: 10 lines each)

• Section C (limit: 5 lines each)

• Section D (limit: 2 lines each)
