Students appearing for the SEBA HSLC and HS exam 2026 must start preparing for the examination at least a month before. Previous year, the Assam Higher Secondary Education Council (AHSEC) 2nd year theory exams were conducted from February 13 to March 17, 2025. While the HSLC practical exams were held on January 21 and January 22, 2025. As per the previous year data, the Assam Board exams will be conducted in two shifts: morning and afternoon.
The Assam HSLC morning shift exam will be commenced from 9 am to 12 pm, while the afternoon shift will start at 1:30 PM and end at 4:30 pm for each exam.
The morning shift AHSEC HS exams will be held from 9:00 am to 11 am, while the afternoon shift will be conducted from 1:30 pm to 3:30 pm.

To pass the Assam HSLC exams , students must score at least 30% marks in each subject and achieve an overall aggregate of 30%. This includes both theory and practical components where applicable. Meeting these criteria qualifies the student for a passing score in the examination.
After the announcement of the Assam HSLC result, the Assam board opens the window for the rechecking process. If you are not satisfied with your result, you can visit the official website, fill out the Assam HSLC revaluation process application form and submit it along with the required fee.
For qualifying for the Anundoram Borooah Award, the candidate needs to get 75% or more in HSLC to get the rewards which you've clearly done that. So first of all congratulations on your achievement. Secondly, No it will not reject your application.
