The Science Olympiad Foundation conducts the International Mathematics Olympiad (IOM) for students in classes 1 to 12. Students appearing for the IMO 11th exam are advised to check out the syllabus and start preparing for the examination. The IMO class 11th syllabus 2025 is available online on the SOF website, sofworld.org. The IMO class 11th syllabus includes the list of topics from which the questions will be asked in the examination.
The SOF IMO exam will be held on three dates, November 12, November 28 and December 12, 2025. Firstly, students are advised to read and understand the entire SOF IMO 11th syllabus 2025 and then start preparing for the exam accordingly. The syllabus also includes the IMO 11th exam pattern 2025. There will be two levels in the SOF IMO examination 2025. Students who clear the 1st level will be eligible to appear for the 2nd level exam. Read further to learn more about the IMO class 11th syllabus 2025 below.
The SOF IMO class 11th olympiad examination will be conducted for a duration of 1 hour. The IMO syllabus includes information about the topics that will be covered in the exam. 60% of questions will be asked from the candidate's current class syllabus (class 11th), while 40% will be asked from the previous class syllabus, i.e., class 10th in this case. There will be four sections in the IMO exam question paper:

Section 1: Logical Reasoning: Verbal and Non-Verbal Reasoning.
Section 2: Mathematical Reasoning /Applied Mathematics: Sets, Relations and Functions, Logarithms, Complex Numbers, Linear Inequalities, Sequences and Series, Trigonometry, Straight Lines, Conic Sections, Permutations and Combinations, Binomial Theorem, Statistics, Limits and Derivatives, Probability, Introduction to 3-D Geometry

Numbers, Quantification, Numerical Applications, Sets, Relations and Functions, Sequences and Series, Permutations and Combinations, Mathematical Reasoning, Limits, Continuity and Differentiability, Probability, Descriptive Statistics, Basics of Financial Mathematics, Straight Lines, Circles, Parabola.
Section 3: Everyday Mathematics: The syllabus of this section will be based on the syllabus of Quantitative Aptitude.
Section 4: Achievers Section: Sets, Relations and Functions, Sequences and Series, Permutations and Combinations, Limits and Derivatives, Straight Lines, Circles, Parabola, Probability.

Science olympiad foundation conducts the IMO (International Mathematics Olympiad ) for classes 1 to 12. IMO exam is conducted in 2 levels. Level 1 is for classes 1 to 12 and Level 2 is for classes 3 to 12 who qualify in level 1.
SOF also accepts individual registration. Each student has to pay INR 50 for those who pay individually.

There is only one mode to apply for the IMO exam 2021 i.e. Offline. You have to contact your school authorities for IMO Forms, if your school is registered with IMO then the forms may have already arrived.
It must be remembered that no student can apply for the IMO 2021 registration independently. SOF will not accept any application form directly from students. Students should contact their respective schools for their registration.

IMO Level 1 is conducted for Class 1 to 12 students and then the Level 2 is conducted for Class 3 to 12 students who qualify the level 1.
