Who can Fill Out the Inspire Scholarship Application Form 2024-25?

• Students who scored in the top 1% of their Class 12 exams from any State or Central Education Board in India are eligible. They must also be studying B.Sc., B.S., or integrated M.Sc./M.S. courses in Natural and Basic Sciences.

• Students who have ranked within the top 10,000 in the IIT JEE or NEET exam and are currently studying Natural and Basic Science courses at the B.Sc., B.S., or integrated M.Sc./M.S. level in India are eligible.

• Students who scored in the top 1% of their Class 12 exams from any State or Central Education Board in India and are pursuing Integrated M.S. courses in Natural and Basic Sciences at IISERs, NISER, the Department of Atomic Energy Centre for Basic Sciences, University of Mumbai, or Visva-Bharati, Shanti Niketan are eligible.

• National Talent Search Examination (NTSE) scholars, Jagadish Bose National Science Talent Search (JBNSTS) scholars, and International Olympiad medalists who are studying Bachelor's or Master's courses in Natural Sciences are also eligible.

Step 1 - New User Registration

• Visit the official website, online-inspire.gov.in.

• Click on the ‘New User’ link. Provide basic information like - User name, DOB, email address, and mobile number.

• Do the captcha verification.

• Click on the ‘Submit’ button to successfully create a Login ID and password.

Note: Write down the login ID and password and remember them, as they will be used to log in to your account.

Step 2 - Log In to Account

• Students will now be required to log in to the portal by entering their registered email ID and password.

• After logging in, click on the link of ‘Scholarship’. Then, click on the link ‘Apply for Scholarship’

• Fill in the asked details one by one and use the edit button in case any changes are required.

Note: Students must enter the correct details and save the application form before proceeding further.

Step 3 - Upload the Scanned Images of Documents

• The scanned images of the supporting documents must be attached in the designated format as specified on the website.

Inspire Scholarship Cut-Off 2024-25

Students must have comprehensive information about the INSPIRE Scholarship, including the previous year's cut-off. The INSPIRE Scholarship cut-off for 2024-25 will be published for different education boards such as the State Board, ICSE, CBSE, and others.

Duration and Amount of the Inspire Scholarship 2024-25

• Students who are eligible for the scholarship will receive an annual scholarship amount of Rs 80,000/-.

• The scholarship holder will receive a payable cash amount of Rs 60,000/- per annum. Additionally, a summertime attachment fee of Rs 20,000/- will be provided to students who undertake summertime research projects.

• The selected students will be awarded the scholarship for a maximum duration of 5 years, starting from the first year of their B.Sc./B.Sc.(Hons)/BS or integrated M.S. or M.Sc. course. The scholarship will continue until the completion of the respective course, subject to a maximum of 5 years.

• The continuation of the scholarship will be entirely contingent upon the student's performance throughout the course.

How to Renew the Inspire Scholarship 2024-25?
