• Visit the official website, oav.edu.in or bseodisha.ac.in.

• The authorities of the Odisha Adarsh Vidyalaya can fill out the OAV entrance examination form, or the parents of the students can do so by entering the required information.

• Suppose the parents are filling out the OAV entrance exam application form. In that case, they must register first by clicking on the “New Registration for Parents” button and entering their mobile number, creating a password and selecting the class for which they wish to admit their child to OAV.

• After that, click on the “Register” button.

• An OTP will be sent to the same mobile number. Enter the OTP, and after the verification is done, the parents will be directed to the login page.

• After that, select the class to which admission is required. Because once the class is selected, the information cannot be changed at a later stage.

• Parents can log in to the portal by entering their mobile number, which will be considered their Login ID. Therefore, only one candidate can be registered at once.

• After logging in to the online OAV entrance exam application form, parents must enter the required information, such as the candidate’s name, DOB, parents' names, guardian's name, gender, caste, religion, parents' contact number, email ID, permanent address, etc.

• They must upload required documents, such as the candidates’ photograph, signature, one of the parents' signatures or guardian signature, transfer certificate from the previous school, etc.

• Ensure all the information provided in the application form is correct, and click on the “Save” button.

• After that, “Print” and “Edit” buttons will be displayed on the screen. Parents can edit the form as many times as they like before the final submission.

• Once parents are sure, they can click save all the data and submit the form.

Eligibility Criteria for OAV Entrance Exam Application Form 2026

• Only candidates who are permanent residents of Odisha are eligible to apply for admission to OVA.

• They must pass out from a recognised school that possesses a Certificate of Recognition (CoR) from the concerned state government.

• The upper age limit is relaxed by 2 years in the case of PwD candidates.

• Students can apply to only one OAV and for one class for a given academic session.

• Students who are already enrolled in an OAV are not eligible for the entrance test in any class.

Minimum Education Qualification for Admission to OAV

Minimum Qualification Requirement for Admission to Class 6

• Students who are continuing class 5 or class 6 during the session 2025-26.

• Those who have already passed class 5 during the session 2024-25.

• Candidates born between April 1, 2014, and April 1, 2016.

Minimum Qualification Requirement for Admission to Class 7 (Lateral Entry)

• Continuing class 6 during the academic year 2025-26.

• Students born between April 1, 2013, and April 1, 2015.

Minimum Qualification Requirement for Admission to Class 8 (Lateral Entry)

• Students continuing class 7 during the session 2025-26.

• Those born between April 1, 2012, and April 1, 2014, can apply for the class 8.

Minimum Qualification Requirement for Admission to Class 9 (Lateral Entry)

• Candidates who are continuing class 8 during the session 2025-26 are eligible for admission to class 9.

• They must be born between April 1, 2011, and April 1, 2013.
