Numerous major changes have been introduced in the way how UPMSP practical exams 2025 will be conducted. As per reports, some of the notable changes and essential alterations are mentioned below:
For the first time, UPMSP viva sessions during practical exams will be video recorded. This ensures that students’ performance is fairly evaluated, and any discrepancies can be reviewed later. The recordings will be sent directly to the UP Board for verification.
Examiners will now have to input marks through a dedicated app that will only function within the school premises. This step eliminates the possibility of examiners marking students from home or outside the examination centre.
School principals will play a pivotal role in this process by assisting in uploading viva recordings and ensuring adherence to the new guidelines.
The UPMSP practical exams will be held in two phases from February 1 to 16, 2025. The region-wise Phase 1 and Phase 2 practical exam details are mentioned below:
The UP 12th practical exams have been changed. The UP inter-practical exams, previously scheduled to occur in two phases between January 23rd and February 8th, 2025, will now be conducted in a single phase from February 1 to 16, 2025.

Hello,
You can write the exam in either English or Hindi, depending on the medium you opted for during school. Core subjects like Physics, Chemistry, Maths, and Biology—as well as Commerce or Humanities papers—will be available in both languages. Language papers such as English, Hindi, or Sanskrit will naturally align with the language you study.
Hope this helps. All the best!
