BSEB 10th, 12th Subjects

The Bihar board offers various subject options for 10th and 12th-grade students. BSEB offers Hindi, English, Maths, Science, Social Science and various other subjects in Class 10. For the BSEB 12th, students have the option to choose subjects based on their stream, i.e., Science, Commerce, and Arts. BSEB 10th, 12th Passing Marks 2026

Students who appear for the Bihar board exam 2026 must score a minimum of 30% marks in the theory paper. While in aggregate, students must score a minimum of 33% to pass the examination. In case a student fails to score the minimum BSEB passing marks, then they will have to reappear in the BSEB supplementary examination 2026. The board offers a second chance to students to save their academic year. However, if a student still did not pass the supplementary exam, then they will have to repeat the year.

The board offers arts, commerce and science streams for students in the Bihar board 11th, 12th. After passing class 10th, students can choose any stream they like based on their interests. How to Apply for Admission to BSEB Class 11?

The BSEB board started the Class 11th admission from July 5 to July 17, 2025, through the Online Facilitation System for Students (OFFS). Using the OFSS, students can enrol in Intermediate art/ science/ commerce/ agriculture/ vocational in BSEB-affiliated colleges/schools (except Minority Institutions and Residential Institutions).
