CBSE Compartment Date Sheet 2025 Out: Class 10, 12 Supply Exam Schedule & Time Table
The CBSE compartment exams 2025 for Class 10 were held from July 15 to July 22, 2025. The Class 12 exams for all subjects were conducted on July 15 only. The board conducted the practical exams from July 10 to 15, 2025. The official CBSE compartment exam date sheet 2025 PDF was made available on the CBSE website. We have also provided the date sheet PDF on this page. Students were required to appear only for the subjects in which they had failed, not for all subjects.

Earlier, the Central Board of Secondary Education announced the CBSE Compartment exam dates PDF for Classes 10 and 12 on June 26, 2025. Students who did not score the minimum passing marks in one or more subjects were eligible to appear for the CBSE compartment exams. The CBSE compartment exam form 2025 was made available online from May 30 to June 17, 2025, without any late fee.
CBSE Compartment Exam Dates 2025
The CBSE Compartment Exams 2025 were conducted from July 15 to July 22, 2025. The Class 12 supplementary exams as well as the Class 10 supply exams have concluded. These CBSE 10th compartment exams and 12th re-exam date 2025 provide an opportunity for students who did not pass one or two subjects during the main examinations to improve their scores without losing an academic year.

CBSE Compartment Exam Date 2025 for 10th & 12th
The CBSE board holds supplementary examinations each year for students in Classes 10 and 12 who have not cleared the annual examination. These students were able to appear for the CBSE 10th re-exam and 12th re-exam 2025. The board provides the admit card, CBSE compartment exam schedule, and other necessary details for these compartment examinations.

Students can download the CBSE 10, 12 supplementary timetable 2025 through the official website. Below are some simple steps to download the CBSE compartment exam date 2025 PDF.
- Go to the compartment exam at cbse.gov.in.
- Click on the ‘Main Website’ option.
- Look in the ‘Latest @ CBSE’ section, and click on the CBSE compartment Time Table 2025’ link.
- The CBSE supplementary date sheet 2025 PDF will open in the next window.
- Download the CBSE compartment date sheet and save it for future reference.

Eligibility of CBSE Compartment Exams 2025
The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) offers compartment examinations for students who do not pass one or two subjects in their Class 10 or Class 12 board exams. This provides an opportunity to clear failed subjects without repeating the entire academic year.
Number of Attempts Allowed for CBSE Supplementary Exams
CBSE permits up to three attempts to clear the CBSE compartment examination:
- First Attempt: Conducted in July/August immediately after the main board exam results.
- Second Attempt: Held in March/April of the following year.
- Third Attempt: Conducted in July/August of the same year as the second attempt.
If a student fails to pass the compartment exam after three attempts, they must reappear for all subjects in the next annual board examination.

Previous CBSE Supplementary Dates
Last year, the CBSE conducted the Class 12 Compartment Examination in a single day on July 15, 2024. The Class 10 Compartment Examinations were held from July 15 to July 22, 2024. A total of 1,22,170 students were placed in the Class 12 compartment category. For Class 10, 1,32,337 students were placed in the compartment category. The Class 12 Compartment Results were announced on August 2, 2024, with an overall pass percentage of 29.78%. The Class 10 Compartment Results were declared on August 5, 2024.
Important Instructions for CBSE Compartment Exams 2025
All students registered for the CBSE Class 10 and 12 compartment exams 2025 must arrive at their designated exam centre at least 30 minutes before the exams begin.
It is mandatory to carry their admit card and school ID to the examination hall. Entry will be denied without these documents.
The CBSE Class 10 and 12 compartment exams 2025 will be held from 10:30 am to 1:30 pm, though some subjects may conclude at 12:30 pm.
Students will be given 15 minutes to read the question paper before the exam starts.
Any student found cheating or using unfair means will face strict disciplinary action.
