ISC Class 12th Answer Key 2025, Download Subject Wise PDF
On March 28, 2025, the ISC Sociology exam was held from 2 pm to 5 pm. Candidates will be able to download the ISC Sociology answer key shortly from the table given below in article. Earlier, the ISC board answer keys were released for subjects like Accounts, Political Science, Biology, Maths, Business Studies, Physics paper 1, and History.
The Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE) is conducting the ISC 12th exams from February 13 to April 5, 2025. Institutions and experts are releasing ISC 12 unofficial answer keys for the respective subjects. We have provided the CISCE ISC subject-wise answer keys on this page.
Some ISC 12th exams start at 9 AM, while some commence at 2 PM, with a total duration of 3 hours. Types of Questions Asked in ISC 12th Paper
Understanding the types of questions asked in ISC (Indian School Certificate) exams is important for effective preparation. Check the ISC exam pattern below:
Compulsory English:
English is a mandatory subject, divided into English Language and Literature in English.
Each part usually involves both theory and project work.
Elective Subjects:
Students choose a set number of elective subjects, depending on their chosen stream (Science, Commerce, or Humanities).
Many subjects incorporate a theory ISC 12th question paper and a practical or project work component.
The weightage of these components varies across subjects.
The total marks for most subjects are 100, distributed between theory and practical/project work.
However, science subjects often have a different distribution, with a greater emphasis on practicals.
Passing marks are 35% in each subject.
For example, science subjects like Physics, Chemistry, and Biology have a strong emphasis on practicals, while subjects like History and Economics often involve project work.

Getting admission in IITs or NITs doesn’t depend only on your Class 12 percentage. The main criteria is your JEE performance. For IITs, you need to clear JEE Advanced after qualifying JEE Main. For NITs, admission is through JEE Main rank.
As per eligibility, you must score at least 75% in Class 12 (for General/OBC) or be in the top 20 percentile of your board. Since you got 74.8% overall, it’s slightly less than 75, but if your board’s top 20 percentile cutoff is lower, you may still be eligible. In that case, you can sit for JEE counseling.
So, your admission chance depends mainly on:
1. Your JEE Main/Advanced rank.
2. Whether your board percentile rule covers your marks.
So, If you clear these, yes, you can get into an IIT/NIT depending on your JEE score. Otherwise, you might need to consider other engineering colleges.
To appear in the JEE Mains exams, the students must have qualified Class 12 with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as core subjects, and to appear in the JEE Advanced , the students must have attained 75% (for General/OBC) in Class 12.
As you are a student from the ICSE board , the percentage is calculated based on the best of 5 subjects, and based on this rule, your percentage is not up to 75%. Therefore, you are not eligible to appear in the JEE examination.

Yes, you can get another Class 12th Passing Certificate if you have lost it. To get obtain the passing certificate visit your school/college and enquire regarding the procedure and the details required to obtain the certificate. The concerned authority in the administration office will assist you in this regard. You may have to provide your details such as your name, father's name, mother's name, date of birth, passing year etc.
