Registration were opened from May 22 to June 4, 2025. A total of 807,098 students appeared for the HSE +1 exams. Of these, 743,232 passed, while 63,866 did not pass and were eligible to sit for the supplementary exams.

TN 11th Supplementary Result 2025 Passing Marks

In the Tamil Nadu Plus One supplementary examination, internal assessment carries a maximum of 10 marks, and practicals account for 20 marks, neither of which has a minimum qualifying score; students are only required to participate in the practical exam. The written TN HSE +1 supply theory portion is worth 70 marks, with a minimum of 15 marks needed in theory and at least 35 marks overall (combining theory, practical, and internal) to pass. Thus, to successfully clear the 100‑mark subject, a student must secure 35 marks in total, meeting both the theory threshold and the aggregate pass mark.

The 2025 Tamil Nadu State Board 10th standard Tamil quarterly exam question papers are released district-wise.
These papers follow the Samacheer Kalvi (Uniform System) syllabus.
The exam covers three parts: Grammar, Literature, and Supplementary texts.

Candidates who have once Registered for the earlier session of Higher Secondary Examination and failed or absented may apply in the same.
