The Assam Board 10th maths syllabus is designed to align with the NCERT curriculum and covers key mathematical topics. The Assam HSLC maths syllabus generally focuses on core concepts from Number Systems, Algebra, Coordinate Geometry, Geometry, Trigonometry, Mensuration, Statistics, and Probability. The Internal Assessment carries 10 marks and typically involves practical work, projects, and other school-based activities.

The Assam HSLC mathematics exam is conducted for a total of 100 marks, which are split into two parts: a theory paper worth 90 marks and an internal assessment worth 10 marks. To successfully pass the subject, a student must secure at least 30% in the theory exam (i.e., a minimum of 27 out of 90), at least 30% in the internal assessment (i.e., a minimum of 3 out of 10), and 30% overall across the total 100 marks

List of Practicals in Assam HSLC Maths

  • Solve a pair of linear equations by graphical method and to verify the result by any other algebraic method. (Chapter-3)

  • To find the zeros of a quadratic polynomial graphically and verification of the result by any other algebraic method (Chapter-2)

  • Verification of the formula for :- (chapter-5) i. Sum of first in terms of an AP ii. Sum of first n natural numbers iii. Sum of first n odd natural numbers iv. Sum of first n even natural numbers

  • Verification of Basic Proportionality Theorem. (Chapter-6)

  • Verification of the converse of Basic Proportionality theorem. chapter-6)

  • To verify that the ratio of the area of two similar triangles is equal to the ratio of the squares of their corresponding sides. (Chapter-6)

  • Verification of Phythagoras Theorem.

  • Verification of the formula of area of triangle (in coordinate geometry) with the help of the formula of plane geometry. (Chapter-7)

  • Construction of a tangent to a circle at any point on it, when the centre of the circle is given (Chapter-10)

  • To verify that the length of the tangents drawn from an external point to a circle are equal. (Chapter-10)

  • To obtain the formula for the area of a circle with radius r. (Chapter -12)

  • To construct a right circular cylinder with given height and circumference. (Chapter-13)

  • To construct a right circular cone with given height and circumference of the circular base. For the cone so formed, to determine its radius and height. (Chapter-13)

  • To construct a quadrilateral with a given measure and then to construct a similar quadrilateral.

  • To find mean, median and mode from primary data collected by the students in a specific subject.

  • To Find the median from a given distribution using the graph mentioned below and to verify the result. (Chapter-14) (i) Using less than type ogive. (ii) Using more than type ogive. (iii) Using both less than and more than type ogive

  • Probability : (Chapter-15) (a) To find the probability of getting head or tail from the experiment of tossing a coin 100 times. (b) To obtain the probability of an event associated with throwing a pair of dice.

  • Displacement and rotation of the triangle. (Chapter-7) To verify that under any displacement and rotation of a triangle- (a) Distance between the verities remain unchanged. (b) The area of the triangle remains unaltered.

Yes, the Assam board is expected to release the Assam HSLC topper list along with the Assam HSLC result . If the board releases the toppers list, you will be able to check it on the official website, sebaonline.org.

To pass the Assam HSLC exams , students must score at least 30% marks in each subject and achieve an overall aggregate of 30%. This includes both theory and practical components where applicable. Meeting these criteria qualifies the student for a passing score in the examination.

After the announcement of the Assam HSLC result, the Assam board opens the window for the rechecking process. If you are not satisfied with your result, you can visit the official website, fill out the Assam HSLC revaluation process application form and submit it along with the required fee.

For qualifying for the Anundoram Borooah Award, the candidate needs to get 75% or more in HSLC to get the rewards which you've clearly done that. So first of all congratulations on your achievement. Secondly, No it will not reject your application.

Suppose you didn't had your own bank account. What would you do then? Obviously one will give the bank account of your parents. The name on the Admit card will be yours and that of on the Bank account will be your parents. No match right?! So, it will not make an issue if the name on your Admit Card and your Bank account doesn't match. They will not reject your application for the Award.

So, with regard to your query, as per the tentative dates for the Assam Board the elective subject arabic examination will mostly be held in the month of March or April in 2022. However, due to pandemic the dates may change.
