Overview of CBSE Class 10 Mathematics 2025

The CBSE class 10 mathematics syllabus 2025 covers various topics like algebra, trigonometry, statistics, probability, and geometry. The exam paper is designed to challenge the critical thinking skills and problem-solving skills of students. The question paper is designed in two levels: standard and basic. Students can choose any of the two of their choice. The standard level is for students aiming to pursue higher studies in the maths field and basic is for students not opting for advanced mathematics for higher studies. The question paper follows a well-defined marking scheme which depends on both understanding and application of the theoretical knowledge.

CBSE Class 10th Mathematics Syllabus 2025

The CBSE class 10 maths syllabus 2025 consists of a total of 7 units. Number systems is the first chapter covering real numbers. In the second chapter of algebra, students will learn about polynomials, pairs of linear equations in two variables, quadratic equations, and arithmetic progressions. Coordinate geometry is the third chapter. The fourth chapter geometry provides an understanding of circles and triangles. The fifth chapter trigonometry includes an introduction to trigonometry, trigonometric identities, and height and distances. Areas related to circles surfaces and volumes are covered in mensuration. The seventh chapter covers statistics and probability.
