How to Check the IOQM Result 2025-26?

Students can follow the steps mentioned below to check their IOQM result 2025.

• Step 1: Visit the official website at ioqmexam.in.
• Step 2: Locate the link titled “IOQM 2025” and select the relevant link related to the students’ region and class.
• Step 3: Enter the login credentials mentioned in the IOQM admit card in the Student Login section and submit.
• Step 4: The IOQM result 2025-26 will appear on the screen.
• Step 5: Download and print the result for future reference.

IOQM Normalization

Due to the Indian Olympiad Qualifier in Mathematics (IOQM) being conducted on multiple dates (September 7 and September 28, 2025), a normalisation process is applied to ensure fairness for all candidates. The average score of all candidates who appeared on the first exam date (September 7, 2025) is used as the reference score. The average score of the students who appeared on the second exam date (September 28, 2025) is calculated separately. Selection Criteria of IOQM 2025 Result

More than 10,000 students from various regions and schools will be selected based on the IOQM results 2025-26 to proceed to the next stage of the examination. The selection criteria are outlined below:

• Any student who scores at least 10% of the total marks in the IOQM 2025-26 paper will receive a certificate.
• To qualify for RMO 2025, a student must score at least 10% of the total marks in the IOQM 2025-26 paper, although this is not the sole qualifying factor.
• Students in classes 8, 9, 10, or 11 who score at least 10% in the IOQM 2025 paper will be categorised as category A students.
• Students in class 12 who score at least 10% in the IOQM 2025-26 paper will be categorised as Category B students.
• The top 200 students from Category A, including ties for the 200th position, will qualify for RMO 2025-26.
• The top 40 students from Category B, including ties for the 40th position, will qualify for RMO 2025-26.
• Additionally, 5 more female students from Category A will qualify for RMO 2025-26, irrespective of the number of female students already qualifying in the top 200 from Category A, under the Girls' quota.
• There is no separate Girls' quota for Category B. A female student from Category B can qualify for RMO 2025 only if she is among the top 40 students in Category B.

IOQM Result Cutoff 2025 Region-wise

The IOQM cutoff marks 2025-26 are announced separately for every state/JNVs/KVs. Students can find their roll number in the merit list if they achieve the Pre-RMO cut-off score. The students who have qualified in the IOQM 2024 will be eligible for RMO selection.
