OAV Entrance 2026 Exam Eligibility Criteria

• Students should be permanent residents of Odisha.

• Candidates seeking admission during the 2026-27 academic session must be continuing/ passed/ continuing in the respective classes during the 2025-26 academic session.

• Students passing out of schools running under the state government/ ICSE/ CBSE/ Odia medium private institutions are eligible for taking admission in OAVs. They must possess a Certificate of Recognition (CoR) from the state government concerned for the class and academic session last studied.

OAV Entrance Exam Application Form 2026

The BSE Odisha provides two options for the OAV entrance exam application login, i.e., by parents or by OAVs. Before proceeding with OAVET registration, parents or OAV principals have to go through all instructions and guidelines published by the board and the Odisha Adarshaa Vidyalaya Sangathan. They must check and verify the list of OAV and vacant list for direct admissions and lateral entries, based on which the registration can be done. • Step 2: Navigate to the OAVET 2026 exam section.
• Step 3: Click on the “Apply for OAV Entrance Test 2026” link.

• Step 5: Select either the OAV or Parent option to fill in the application.
• Step 6: Do the registration by entering the mobile number and password.
• Step 7: Click on the “Login” button.
• Step 8: Enter the OTP sent to your mobile number.

OAV Entrance Exam Pattern 2026

The examination will be held at the centre notified to students by the BSE Odisha board. The OAV entrance 2026 exam consists of one paper with multiple-choice questions. There will be no negative marking.

OAV Entrance Exam Admit Card 2026

The BSE Odisha board or the OAVs released the OAVET admit card on December 30, 2025. Students can visit the official website at bseodisha.ac.in or oav.edu.in to download the admit card in online mode. They need to enter the details like name, father’s name, class, registration number, etc., to download the admit card. Without the admit card, candidates will not be allowed to write the examination.

OAV Answer Key 2026

The OAV entrance answer key 2026 will be released in February 2026 on the official website. First, the provisional answer key will be released, and students will be allowed to raise objections if they find any mistakes or discrepancies. The school board will release the final OAV answer key for 2026 by the last week of February 2026.

OAV Entrance Exam Result 2026

The Odisha Adarsha Vidyalaya Sangathan will declare the OAV entrance exam result in February 2026.
