The OFSS Bihar Class 11 Second Selection List for 2025 has been released online. Students who did not secure a spot in the BSEB first selection list, or those looking to adjust their college or stream preferences, are advised to check the Bihar Board second merit list. Successful candidates must then proceed with the admission process at their assigned institutions. This process involves downloading the intimation letter, reporting to the school or college, completing document verification, and submitting the required fees.
Verify Selection: Confirm if the name of candidate appears on the Bihar Board second merit list by checking the OFSS website.
Obtain Intimation Letter: If selected, download the intimation letter from the OFSS website.
Report to Allotted Institution: Present ourself at the school or college where they have been assigned a seat, bringing their intimation letter and all necessary documents.
Finalise Admission: Complete the BSEB Class 11 admission formalities, including document verification and payment of required fees, to secure their enrollment.
Utilise Slide-up Option: For candidates who were selected in the BSEB first list but desire a change in college or stream, the slide-up option can be availed after completing admission at their currently allotted institution.
Submit New Option Form: Students not selected in either the first or second lists have the opportunity to submit a fresh option form for consideration in subsequent rounds
The "Slide-Up" option in BSEB OFSS admission process is an important feature for students who wish to change their allotted college or stream after being selected in a merit list. Check the process of Bihar Board OFSS Slide up option.
Initial Admission is Compulsory: If a student is selected in the first, Bihar Board second merit list, or any subsequent merit list, they must first take admission in the college/school they have been allotted. This is a non-negotiable step. If a student does not take admission in the allotted institution, their application will be cancelled, and they will be removed from the OFSS system for the current session.
Applying for Slide-Up: After completing the admission process in the initially allotted college, students who are not satisfied with their allotted college or stream (and have higher preferences listed in their Common Application Form) can apply for the "Slide-Up" option. This is done online through the OFSS portal from July 15 to 19, 2025.
Purpose of Slide-Up: The BSEB Slide-Up option allows students to be considered for a higher-preference college or stream in the next merit lists (e.g., the second or third list). It is a way to show that the candidate is interested in an upgrade.
Automatic Cancellation (if upgraded): If a student applies for Slide-Up and is then allotted a seat in a higher-preference college/stream in a subsequent merit list, their admission in the previously allotted college will be automatically cancelled. They will then proceed to take admission in the new, higher-preference institution.
No Change if Not Upgraded: If a student applies for Slide-Up but is not allotted a higher-preference college in the next list, their admission in the previously secured college remains valid. They do not lose their current seat.
