Since 2020, CBSE has stopped publishing an official "Topper List" to reduce unhealthy competition and academic stress. However, the Board continues to provide Merit Certificates to the top 0.1% of successful candidates in each subject.
If a student is among the highest scorers in a specific subject (e.g., Mathematics, Physics, or History), he/she receives this merit certificate through their DigiLocker account. They can also download their CBSE 12th result 2026 via DigiLocker.
