    The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) Class 12 geography board exam was held on February 24, 2025, from 10:30 AM to 1:30 PM. It was well-structured, with a well-balanced level of difficulty and a mix of conceptual and higher-order thinking questions. It was a reasonable and equitable exam for all aspirants with different levels of preparation.     CBSE Class 12 Geography Paper Analysis 2025

    The majority of the students felt that the paper was well-balanced with descriptive and analytical-type questions. The majority of the students reported that the MCQs were easy but some were difficult and required careful reading. Short- and long-answer questions were predominantly from NCERT with a few being application-based type questions. The map-based questions were easy as expected. Some of the major observations on the students' feedback are given below:

    • Most of the students indicated that the MCQs were simple, but some were tricky and had to be read carefully.
    • The short-answer and long-answer questions were predominantly from NCERT, with some application-based questions.
    • Time management was crucial because there were students who could not complete the long-answer section within the given time. The map questions were simple, as anticipated.
    • Subject experts and teachers opined that the paper was nicely written and strictly adhered to the CBSE syllabus.
    • Questions were designed to measure conceptual understanding, mapping ability, and reasoning ability.
    • According to officials, the students who are well prepared by NCERT books and sample papers will perform better.
