The National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS) has bifurcated the NIOS Class 10th syllabus 2026 into tutor-marked assignments (TMA) and the public examination syllabus. The NIOS Class 10 bifurcated syllabus 2026 PDF is available online on the official website of NIOS, nios.ac.in. The NIOS syllabus for the 10th is the same for public and on-demand exams. The NIOS will conduct the Class 10 theory exams for the April session from April to May 2026, while the October session exams will be held from October to November 2026.

NIOS Class 10th Syllabus 2026 - Subjects Included
The subjects included in the NIOS syllabus 2026 Class 10 are broadly divided into two categories - Group A and Group B.
Group A includes language subjects. A child must choose a minimum of one language and a maximum of two languages out of Group A.
Group B includes the core subjects, wherein students can choose three subjects or four subjects.
To obtain the Class 10 certificate and be declared as passed in the NIOS 10th result, a student must clear five subjects, including one language subject.
