NIOS Admission 2025 Last Date - The National Institute of Open Schooling has started the NIOS 10th, 12th admission process for the October 2025 exams. The last date to apply for NIOS Block 2 online admissions for October 2025 exams is January 31, 2025. Students can apply for NIOS admissions who qualify the age eligibility criteria. Eligible candidates are those who have completed Class 8 and are at least 14 years old. Such students can apply for the NIOS 10th admission 2025. NIOS Online Stream 2 Admission for October 2025
- NIOS 2025 admission is open for all students who failed to pass Class 10 or 12 examinations from any recognized board.
- Additionally, they may transfer up to two subjects from the parent board through the Transfer of Credit (TOC) process.
- Students must pass the subjects with a minimum of 33% marks or equivalent scores.
NIOS 2025 Admission Eligibility Criteria
Students may apply for admission to NIOS 2025 if they meet the NIOS eligibility criteria. Below are the requirements for NIOS online admission:
Age Limit
- For NIOS 10th, a student must be 14 years of age as of January 31, 2025.
- For NIOS 12th admission, the applicant must be 15 years of age as of January 31, 2025.

Minimum Education
- He/she must have cleared class 8 from the recognised board or must possess enough knowledge to sit for the class 10 exam. A candidate giving self-certificate and stating that they have studied enough to be eligible for NIOS 10th registration 2025.
- He/she must have cleared class 10 from a recognized board to apply for NIOS class 12 registration 2025. Students applying immediately after passing the 10th will not be allowed to sit for all subject exams in one attempt.
Documents Required for NIOS Admission 2025
Students applying for NIOS admission online must upload scanned copies of their documents. These documents are accepted for NIOS 10th or 12th admission as proof of eligibility. A candidate who submits all the required documents in jpg or jpeg format will be issued an NIOS admit card.

- Aadhaar card/passport/ ration card or other identity proof.
- Birth certificate for proof of date of birth
- Address proof, i.e. Aadhaar card/water bill/electricity bill/voter ID/ration card
- Signature (preferably in black ink)
- Recent passport-size colour photograph
- Class 8th mark sheet for students applying for the NIOS 10th or secondary course
- class 10th mark sheet to apply for NIOS 12th exams 2025.
- Disability certificate for PwD candidates
- Caste certificate for SC/ST/OBC candidates.
- Ex-serviceman certificate for candidates applying under the Ex-serviceman category.

How to apply for NIOS Admission 2025 (Class 10th & 12th)?
Fill out the NIOS admission 2025 form for Classes 10 and 12 by following the instructions below.
1. Visit the official website by clicking the link above. It will display the NIOS 10th and 12th form home page as seen below:
2. Read the provided guidelines, choose your state and identity type, enter your identity number, and choose the course you're applying for.
3. As soon as you click the submit button, you will be redirected to the next section, i.e. the basic information section.
4. Fill out the NIOS admission form for 2025 accurately, including your name, address, phone number, and other pertinent information.

7. The next step is to select the subjects you wish to appear in and choose the exam centre.

NIOS Admission 2025 Fees
NIOS applicants must pay the admission fee to apply for NIOS 2025 admission online. Payment for the NIOS admission fees should be made online through a credit card, debit card, or net banking.

NIOS Admission Fee for April 2025
In addition to the fees listed above, registering for additional subjects costs Rs 720 per subject. Students must pay 50 rupees to obtain the online application form. After receiving admissions acceptance, the student must pay the NIOS exam fees 2025 to be eligible for the examination.

To get admission to the 11th standard without your Class 10th NIOS result , contact the school you are interested in and explain your situation. Many institutions allow provisional admissions based on internal assessments, and previous academic performance, or conditional admissions are also done with the pending results.
