About ICSO 2024
ICSO 2024-25: The Science Olympiad Foundation (SOF) will conduct the International Computer Science Olympiad (ICSO) on December 20, 2024, and January 21, 2025. The ICSO exam will be held in offline mode. The SOF ICSO admit card will be provided by the respective schools. The SOF ICSO exam aims to assess students' knowledge and skills in computers and information technology.

Students can appear in the SOF ICSO 2024-25 exam if they fulfil the following eligibility criteria:
- Only students of SOF-registered schools can apply for the ICSO.
- A student must be in or between class 1 to class 10 to be eligible for ICSO 2024-25.
- Students who submitted the ICSO application form along with the fee before deadline can appear for the exam.
- Students will have to be enrolled in a school to be eligible for the International Computer Science Olympiad (ICSO).
- Students cannot apply and appear in the Olympiad individually.
- School students have to take the ICSO application form 2024-25 from their school.
- They are required to fill out the complete form and submit it to the school authorities along with the due fees.
- Students of India, Bangladesh, Bhutan & Nepal need to pay an SOF registration fee of Rs 125* (including GST) per student. Apart from this, the school may charge an additional Rs 25 per student towards the honorarium of charge, remuneration to teachers to teach and guide, and other expenses.
Students should know the exam pattern to prepare better for the SOF IEO exam 2024. The exam will be held for 1hour, students need to answer a total of 35 questions.

Mock tests and sample papers are highly recommended to prepare for SOF ICSO 2024. They help the to figure out the exam pattern, syllabus, standard of questions etc. It will help aspirants to do self-analysis. Try to solve as many mock tests and sample paper as possible.
To prepare for the International Computer Science Olympiad 2024, students are advised to devote time to each section and practice as much as they can. Here are some preparation tips for ICSO 2024:
- Practice reading: In the reading comprehension section, candidates will have to spend quite a while reading large passages and answering questions. To have an edge over others, practice reading and comprehension from early on.
- Try to understand what the question is asking for: Questions in the olympiad will be tricky and you need to understand what the question is asking for, rather than beat around the bush. Especially in comprehension, being aware of what the question is asking goes a long way.
- Complete the syllabus: Try to complete the syllabus at least a month before the exam, after that focus on revision. Make sure all doubts are clear, and connect with the teachers to understand the complex concepts easily.
- Practice from sample papers: If you seriously want to score well in ICSO 2024-25, practising with sample papers and giving mock tests is very important.
- Study plan: You should make a study plan for ICSO 2024-25 which incorporates all the above points. Study plans are important to give your hard work the right.
The admit card for SOF ICSO 2024 will be released through school. SOF ICSO admit card includes important details, such as name, enrollment number and exam schedule among others. Students make sure to carry their ICSO admit card, otherwise they won’t be allowed to sit for the SOF ICSO exam 2024.
Science Olympiad Foundation (SOF) will release the ICSO 2024 answer key for classes 1-10. The answer key is made available online through the official website. Candidates can use the same to know the probable scores before the result.
SOF ICSO 2024-25 result will be released in February 2025. Students will be able to check their IEO result by entering their roll number. They can access the ICSO SOF result through the official website.

The SOF ICSO cut-off will be released online through the official website, sofworld.org. The cut-off for Class 1 to 10 will be released, and students scoring the same marks will be prioritised on the basis of section-wise scores.
