The SOF will conduct the NSO exam in two levels. The first level will be held on three dates, i.e., November 13, November 27 and December 11, 2025. Students can choose any one date to appear for the exam. Only those who clear the first level can appear in the second level. - On the next page, scroll down to “National Science Olympiad (NSO) Exam Pattern & Syllabus” and click on the “NSO Syllabus” link.
- Next, click on the “NSO Syllabus and Pattern for Class 12 Level 1 and Level 2”.
- The NSO 2025 Class 12th syllabus will be displayed on the screen.
NSO Class 12 Exam Pattern 2025
The NSO class 12th exam will be held in two levels, level 1 and level 2.
- The level 1 exam will consist of 60% syllabus from the current class and 40% from the previous class, i.e., class 11.
- The level 2 question paper will be from the current syllabus, i.e., class 12th.

Hey Jagrati! For preparing NSO (Class 7, KV-2 Gwalior) in 2025-26, the most important thing is to first understand the syllabus and exam pattern. Start with your NCERT Class 6 and 7 Science books because most of the questions are based on those concepts. Along with this, keep practicing reasoning questions like patterns, series, and puzzles because logical reasoning is also a part of the exam.
Try to solve previous year papers and mock tests regularly; they help you in time management and also show your weak areas. Make short notes of formulas, definitions, and important concepts so that you can revise quickly before the exam. If possible, dedicate 1–2 hours daily for NSO preparation, and on weekends spend some extra time on practice tests.
Most importantly, stay consistent, revise regularly, and keep a balance with your school studies. A calm mind with regular practice will definitely help you perform well in NSO.

the date for the NSO result has not been officially declared by the authorities but as per the information the NSO is likely to declare its results in march 2025 , of the level 2 exam which was held on February 9 2025 .

Lost admin card for an NSO (National Science Olympiad) exam .
To get a lost admit card , visit the official exam website , log in with your registration details and re-download it . If you are unable to do so then to recover it , I recommend reaching out to the official NSO helpline or support team . they should be able to assist you in recovering your admin card .

The science Olympiad foundation conducts the national science Olympiad. NSO set A exam was conducted on 18th October 2024 and set B was conducted on November 12,2024 and set C esam will be held on December 3, 2024.
