The National Testing Agency (NTA) released the All India Sainik Schools Entrance Examination (AISSEE) application form on October 10, 2025, and the last date to apply online was November 9, 2025. The NTA will conduct the AISSEE exam on January 18, 2026. The NTA will announce the AISSEE 2026-27 results for Classes 6 & 9 in March 2026. Students will be selected for Sainik School Kalikiri admission 2026-27 based on their performance in the AISSEE written test and the medical exam. A candidate must be between the ages of 10 and 12 years to be eligible to apply for Sainik School Kalikiri admission into Class 6. The minimum age requirement for Sainik School admission for Class 9 is 13 to 15 years as of March 31, 2026.
Starting with the academic year 2025-26, students from Telangana will no longer be eligible for the 67% "Home State" quota for admission to Sainik School Kalikiri in Andhra Pradesh. Instead, they can only apply under the 33% "Other State" quota for these schools.

Before applying for admission to Sainik School Kalikiri, students must know who is qualified to apply for the AISSEE 2026-27. The following list contains the Sainik School Eligibility Criteria requirements.
Sainik School Kalikiri Entrance Exam for Class 6 is open to Indian boys and girls studying in Class 5 who are between the ages of 10 and 12 as of March 31, 2026.
Indian Boys who are studying in Class 8 and whose age is between 13 to 15 years are eligible for the Sainik School Kalikiri Entrance Exam for Class 9.
To complete the NTA AISSEE admission 2026-27 form, students must pay the following registration fee:
For General or Defence candidates – Rs 850
For SC/ST candidates – Rs 700
The application form and prospectus for Sainik School Kalikiri were released on October 10, 2025. Applicants will be able to apply for the AISSEE till November 9, 2025, to complete the Sainik School Kalikiri admission form. The AISSEE exam form can only be submitted in online mode.

Pay the AISSEE application fee online with a credit card, debit card, or via net banking.
The NTA will release the AISSEE admit card in the First week of January 2026. The admit card for AISSEE 2026-27 can be downloaded by entering the application form number and DOB. To sit for the Sainik School Kalikiri admission exam, every student must bring their admit card.
Candidates without the hall ticket will not be allowed to sit for the Sainik School Kalikiri admission test. The admit card contains information about the students, such as their names, roll numbers, and categories, as well as information about the exam, such as the location, date, and time.

Students should finish the entire course at least a month before the Sainik School Kalikiri admissions test to have enough time to revise.
