Sainik School Entrance Exam Pattern for Class 6 & 9
The total marks for the Class 6 and Class 9 Sainik School will be 300 and 400, respectively, and there will be 125 and 150 questions each. For Class 6, there will be questions from four subjects, i.e. Mathematics, General Knowledge, Language, and Intelligence and for Class 9, from five subjects, i.e. Mathematics, English, General Science, Social Studies, and Intelligence. Preparation Tips for Sainik School Class 6 & 9 Entrance Exam 2026
- Before preparing, students should know the AISSEE syllabus, the number of questions, the marks assigned to each question, and the topics covered in it. This will help him calculate time and prioritise the high-weightage topics.
- Stick to the NCERT syllabus from Class 5 (for Class 6 exam) to Class 8 (for Class 9 exam). This way, all key topics are covered and extra time on irrelevant subjects is avoided.
- Prepare a simplified timetable and follow it every day. The number of hours granted for subjects should be divided while giving extra focus to weak areas, and the schedule should also include some hours for revision and rest.
