Bihar Board 10th Exam 2026 Shoe Rule & Reporting Time | BSEB Matric Guidelines
The Bihar School Examination Board has issued some important guidelines regarding the Bihar Board matric exam 2026. The guidelines include information on the BSEB matric shoe rule and reporting time to enter the examination hall. As per Clauses 6 and 10 of the BSEB examination conduct guidelines, students are not allowed to enter the exam hall wearing shoes and socks. However, they can enter the BSEB exam centres wearing slippers instead of shoes and socks.

2026 Shoe Rules - As per the guidelines and instructions issued by the Bihar Board, students are strictly prohibited from entering the examination hall wearing shoes and socks. However, they are permitted to wear slippers instead of shoes and socks.
Bihar Board Matric Examination 2026: Reporting Time
The BSEB board conducts the matric examination in two shifts, i.e., morning and evening shifts. To avoid crowding in the last minute, maintain discipline at the exam centres, and ensure smooth conduct of the Bihar board examination, the board issued a reporting time for students. The candidates of the first shift will be allowed to enter the exam hall only 30 minutes before the commencement of the exam.
Students of the second shift will be allowed to enter the examination room 30 minutes before the exam commencement time.

However, regarding the reporting time, students are again advised to enter the examination centre one hour before the scheduled time to avoid crowding and to reach their designated Bihar Board 10th exam centres on time.
The board authorities will close the main gate of the exam centre half an hour before the commencement of the examination.
All students must ensure to enter the examination hall as per the scheduled time.
