The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has started the CBSE Central Sector Scheme Scholarships 2024-25 for college and university students on September 13, 2024. Interested candidates can apply for the scholarship, in online mode. They can visit the official website of the National Scholarship Portal (NSP) at scholarships.gov.in to apply for the CBSE CSS 2024.

Candidates must note that the last date to apply for the CBSE CSS scholarship is October 31, 2024. They are advised to apply for it before the deadline. About CBSE Central Sector Scholarships 2024-25

CBSE CSS scheme supports the meritorious candidates financially. It assists their day-to-day expenditure while students pursue higher studies. Candidates are required to meet the eligibility criteria to be eligible for the CBSE central sector scholarships. The scheme aims to offer over 82,000 scholarships per year where 41,000 scholarships are for boys and 41,000 girls respectively. These scholarships are further divided among the state education boards based on the student population in the state.

CBSE Central Sector Scholarship Eligibility Criteria 2024

  • To qualify for the CBSE Central Sector Scholarship 2024, a candidate's annual family income should not exceed INR 4.5 lakhs.
  • Students scoring above 80% in their 12th exams can apply for the CSSS.
  • These scholarships are distributed among state education boards considering the state’s student population whose age is between 18 to 25 years.
  • Candidates who are already receiving benefits from other scholarships are not eligible for the CBSE central sector scholarships.

CBSE CSS 2024 Application

Candidates can apply for the CBSE CSS 2024 application from September 13, 2024. The Central Board of Secondary Education has started the application process CSSS 2024-25. Students can apply for the CBSE CSS scholarship scheme 2024 till October 31, 2024. Candidates must go through the scholarship scheme and eligibility criteria before applying for it to avoid any inconvenience. They can visit the National Scholarship Portal to apply for the CBSE central sector scholarship 2024-25.

CBSE Central Sector Scholarship Amount 2024

Candidates who receive the benefit of the CBSE central sector scholarship will get financial assistance of INR 12,000 per annum. This amount will be for the first three years of the scholarship. Students will get INR 20,000 per annum for the fourth and fifth years from the start of the scholarship. All this is as per the scholarship scheme.

Age: As of the last registration date, you must be between the ages of 16 and 40.
Qualification: You must have graduated from an accredited board or at least passed the tenth grade. Higher qualifications are also accepted, such as a diploma, postgraduate degree, graduation, or 11th or 12th grade.
How to Apply:
