The Central Board of Secondary Education closed the CBSE private candidate form 2025 with a late fee on October 24, 2024. The board started accepting admission form submissions for CBSE 10, 12 private candidates on September 12, 2024. The last date to submit the CBSE private candidate form was October 16, 2024 (without a late fee). The CBSE board released the admission form 2025 through the official website at cbse.gov.in.

Students whose results are declared as FAIL, ESSENTIAL REPEAT, etc., can appear in the CBSE private candidate exam to save their year. Candidates will be able to apply only for the subjects that are auto-generated in the system. The CBSE admit card for private students can be downloaded from cbse.gov.in. Students must fulfil the eligibility criteria before filling out the application form for the CBSE private exam.
Full Subjects (5/6 subjects) | Students whose result is declared as ESSENTIAL REPEAT in Class 12 2023, or FAIL in Class 12 in the years 2019, 2020, 2021, 2022, 2023 Students placed in COMPARTMENT in one subject may opt for 5/6 subjects in which they had appeared in 2023. Students who could not appear for the exam due to medical reasons. Women candidate who is bonafide of National Capital Territory of Delhi and has qualified Class 10 or equivalent from a recognized board and fulfil the given conditions:
A physically challenged candidate who is bonafide of the National Capital Territory of Delhi and has qualified Class 10 or equivalent from a recognized board on producing reasonable evidence of having difficulty attending normal institutions in the subjects not involving practical training/examination. Students of Patrachar Vidyalaya of Delhi whose LOC has already been submitted by the Patrachar Vidyalaya. These candidates do not need to submit their applications on their own. |
COMPARTMENT (1 Subject) | Students whose results have been declared as COMPARTMENT in 2023 can apply only in the subject in which they have been placed in the Compartment. Such a candidate should select his/her category as COMPARTMENT while applying online. |
Improvement of Performance | Only such candidates who have passed the examination of the board 2023 can apply to improve their performance in one or more subjects provided he/she has appeared in the same subjects in the examination held in 2023 |
Additional Subject | Candidates can also apply for additional subjects from the subject enclosed, within 2 years of passing the exam. |
Note 1 | Students applying for improvement of performance cannot apply for appearing in additional subjects and vice-versa |
Note 2 | Only those candidates who have been declared PASS can apply for improvement of performance or additional subjects, subject to other conditions. |
Check the below-given instructions to fill out the application form for candidates appearing under Fail/ Essential / Compartment / Improvement of Performance
Details of the student's name, father’s/guardian’s name, mother's name, etc. will be auto-generated in the online system in respect of those who have appeared in the board’s examination held in 2024. Students of 2023 will need to fill in the details on the online application form.
Put the correct combination of roll number, school number and centre number of board examination, wherever available.
In case of wrong details filled, the application will be processed and an error will be displayed.
Students are required to upload their photos in full colour and high quality to avoid any visible pixels.
Photos must be taken in the last 6 months.
The head should be positioned directly facing the camera, centred and composing 80% of the image.
The photo should be captured from slightly above the top of the hair to the middle of the chest.
Solid colour backgrounds are best.
The full faces of the students should be visible.
The photo and signature should not exceed 40 KB in size.

The board will announce the CBSE private candidate result in April 2025, tentatively. Students can check the CBSE result online through cbse.gov.in. The online result will be provisional in nature, so check the details mentioned carefully. In case of error or discrepancy, connect with concerning authorities as soon as possible.

Qualifications:
Age: As of the last registration date, you must be between the ages of 16 and 40.
Qualification: You must have graduated from an accredited board or at least passed the tenth grade. Higher qualifications are also accepted, such as a diploma, postgraduate degree, graduation, or 11th or 12th grade.
How to Apply:

Register: In the app, create an account.
Examine Notification: Examine the comprehensive notification on the scholarship examination.
Sign up to Take the Test: Finish the app's registration process.
Examine: The Medhavi app allows you to take the exam from the comfort of your home.

Get Scholarship: Following a successful verification process, the scholarship will be given. You need to have at least passed the 10th grade/matriculation scholarship amount will be transferred directly to your bank account.
Scholarship Details:
Type A: For candidates scoring 60% or above in the exam.

If you have uploaded screenshot of your 12th board result taken from CBSE official website,there won,t be a problem with that.If the screenshot that you have uploaded is clear and legible. It should display your name, roll number, marks obtained, and any other relevant details in a readable forma.ALSO, the screenshot clearly show it is from the official CBSE results portal.

You can go with last 5-10 years of PYQs so and after going through all the questions you will have a clear idea about the type and level of questions that are being asked and it will help you to boost your class 12th board preparation.
