The Jammu and Kashmir State Board of School Education (JKBOSE) exam pattern is made available online at jkbose.nic.in. The JKBOSE 10th paper will carry 100 marks in total. Out of which 80 marks will be assigned to the theory paper and 20 marks for the internal assessment. The internal assessment will comprise a periodic assessment, portfolio, and subject enrichment activity.

JKBOSE 10th Exam Pattern 2026 - Scheme of Studies
The JKBOSE 10th exams have five main subjects. Students are required to appear for all five compulsory subjects, namely, Urdu or Hindi, English, Mathematics, Social Science, and Science. Students can also opt for one additional subject or language. However, students are not allowed to repeat any language while opting for an additional subject.
For example, if a student has Hindi as their first language, then they cannot opt for Hindi as an additional subject. The list of compulsory and additional subjects is given below.
