The Central Board of Secondary Education is expected to begin the CBSE Patrachar Vidyalaya admission in November 2024. The CBSE Patrachar Vidyalaya is a distance learning program offered by the CBSE Board. It provides an opportunity for students to complete their secondary (Class 10) and senior secondary (Class 12) education through correspondence. Any admission forms that are incomplete or contain errors will be considered invalid, resulting in the forfeiture of the admission and examination fees.

CBSE Patrachar Vidyalaya Admission: Eligibility

Candidates must be residents of Delhi. This includes children of Indian nationals living overseas and employed in Indian missions. Additionally, children of soldiers stationed in border areas are eligible. Furthermore, individuals who have discontinued their education and are unable to attend conventional schools may also apply.

Eligibility Criteria for 10th Class

  • Candidates who have either passed or failed Class IX in 2024 from a government, government-aided, or recognized school/board are eligible to apply for admission to Class X at Patrachar Vidyalaya.

  • This is contingent upon the submission of the original school leaving certificate (SLC), which must be duly countersigned by the appropriate authority, such as the Competent Authority, DDE Zone, or DDE District.

  • It is important to note that candidates must be at least 14 years old as of March 31, 2024, to qualify for Class X.

Eligibility Criteria for 12th Class

  • Individuals aspiring to enrol in the XII Class at Patrachar Vidyalaya are required to have completed the matriculation, high school, secondary school examination, or any equivalent examination from an accredited Board or University.

  • Additionally, there must be a full-year gap following the completion of Class X.

  • Alternatively, students may have passed or failed XI Class from any government school, government-aided school, or recognized school, board, or university.

  • Furthermore, students who have not succeeded in Class XII from a recognized board or university are also eligible.

How to Apply for CBSE Patrachar Vidyalaya?

Students can apply online for admission in Class 10th & 12th at Patrachar Vidyalaya through the website www.edudel.nic.in. The following sequence should be followed while filling out the online application form:

Step-1 (Registration Process)

  • Step 1: Visit the website edudel.nic.in

  • Step 2: Click on the “Patrachar Vidyalaya” Icon available on the home page.

  • Step 3: Read “Prospectus (2025-26)” and click on “Online Admission

  • Step 4: Read the Terms & Conditions carefully and click on” Accept Terms & conditions

  • Step 5: The LOGIN HERE page will open.

  • Step 6: Click only on the “New Registration” button.

  • Step 7: The CANDIDATE REGISTRATION form page will open.

  • Step 8: Fill out the candidate registration form as per the valid documents required for admission according to the prospectus.

  • Step 9: Fill in your EMAIL ID and create a PASSWORD. The same will be your Username and Password for the “Login”. Click on “Register

  • Step 10: A text message will be sent to the Candidate’s registered Mobile Number. Stating your Username

  • (Do not delete this message as it has to be shown at the admission counter during the submission of documents at Patrachar Vidyalaya for confirmation of admission).

Step-2 (Login, Filling Application Form & Taking Printout)

  • Step 1: Then click “Login”.

  • Step 2: The LOGIN HERE page will open. Go to select and choose “Candidate”.

  • Step 3: Fill in your Username/user ID and Password.

  • Step 4: Type the appearing Verification Text in the space provided then click login

  • Step 5: Then click on “Login”. IMPORTANT INSTRUCTIONS page will open.

  • Step 6: Tick the declaration check box, and then click on the “Proceed” button.

  • Step 7: The application form will open.

  • Step 8: Fill in the blank fields of the application form carefully as per the details given in your documents. Details already filled in on the candidate registration page will appear here automatically.

  • Step 9: Upload a photograph & signature according to the format and size given in the application form and also on the important instructions page. Then click on the “Proceed to Apply” button.

  • Step 10: For Students who have studied in any school, any class, and in any year, fill in your complete details accordingly.

  • Step 11: Choose your Subject as per the Scheme of Studies given in the Prospectus. And then go for “Preview”.

  • Step 12: Check your details in Preview if any detail is found incorrect then click on “Edit application” and correct all the details. If details are correct then click on “Submit Application”.

  • Step 13: First, click on “Print Application” and then click on “Print Receipt” and take the printout of both documents.

Step-3 (Procedure to Deposit Admission Fee)

  • Then click on “Fee Payment” and click on “Confirm & Pay Fees.”

  • The screen of STATE BANK COLLECT will open. First, click on the Check Box and then on the “Proceed” Button.

  • DDO PATRACHAR VIDYALAYA page will open. Choose Admission Fee from the dropdown menu and Fill details as per your Admission Form and Fee Receipt. Choose the amount in the column Admission Fee and Admission Late Fee same as given on Fee Receipt. Fill Captcha shown in the image then click on the “Submit” button

  • Then confirm the details and click on the “Confirm” Button to pay the Admission Fees.

  • Choose your Payment Method and pay the Admission Fee. Do not forget to take a Printout of the Bank Receipt as you have to submit it at the time of verification of admission in Patrachar Vidyalaya.

Submit the printout copy of the finally submitted online application form along with all the necessary documents, Admission Fees Receipt, and Exam Fees Receipt of Bank to Patrachar Vidyalaya personally. Bring all the original documents for verification on the date and time mentioned on the Application form for confirmation of your admission.

Following the completion of the online application form, the applicant needs to attend in person at Patrachar Vidyalaya, Outram Lane, GTB Nagar, Delhi-110009 on the designated date for verification, bringing the necessary documents (both original and one self-attested photocopy). Failure to appear by the final date for document verification will result in the automatic rejection of the application, and the applicant will forfeit any rights to claim admission or request a refund of fees.
