About Assam AHSEC 2025

Assam Higher Secondary Education Council (AHSEC) conducts the Higher Secondary examination for class 12 students, every year. As per AHSEC 12th eligibility criteria, students must have a minimum of 75% attendance in their 12th class.

More details about Assam Higher Secondary Examination 2025:

  • Students should complete the Assam AHSEC syllabus 2025 at least 1 month before the Assam HS exams 2025 to obtain good marks.
  • The Assam HS time table 2025 for the final examination will be released in December 2024.
  • The Assam board final HS exams (theory) will be conducted tentatively in February 2025. 
  • The exam will be conducted in two shifts i.e. morning shift (9:00 am to 12:00 noon) and afternoon shift (1:30 pm to 4:30 pm) across various test centres in the state.
  • Assam Board will announce the Assam HS result 2025 for arts, science, and commerce streams tentatively in May 2025. Students who cleared the Assam HS exams 2025 will be able to be admitted to UG programs in various colleges and institutes.

Application Date

To appear for Assam AHSEC exams 2025, students have to fulfill the following eligibility norms - 

  • A student must have studied class 12 in an institution affiliated with AHSEC.
  • Students have to obtain 75% attendance during the period of study in class 12.
  • They must clear all dues of the current academic year.
  • Students must fill out the application form, pay the exam fee, and submit the form to their respective schools before the deadline.
  • Students whose forms are accepted by the board will be issued admit cards, after which they can appear for the Assam HS exams 2025.

Students studying in class 12 in an institution affiliated to AHSEC can obtain the examination form from there schools/ colleges. They have to pay the required examination fee as directed by the school authority and submit the filled form along with specified documents to the school itself. The board will issue Assam AHSEC admit cards to students whose forms are accepted.

  • Assam HS Final Examination 2025 will tentatively be held in March 2025.
  • Students must score a minimum of 30% on both the theory and practical subjects of the AHSEC exam in order to pass. 
  • Moreover, the aggregate score must be at least 30% across all subjects in the theory part and 40% in practical exams. A failure to meet these requirements will result in failure to pass the exam.
  • Students need to qualify for both the theory part and the practical part separately to pass the Assam HS exams 2025.

  • Knowing the Assam AHSEC exam pattern helps students to be familiar with the subject-wise marking scheme, and the number, and types of questions asked in the exam. 
  • This, in turn, helps students to prepare for their exams in an effective manner.

                                                                                                                              The Assam Higher Secondary Education Council (AHSEC) will release the Assam 12th admit card 2025 in February 2025.                                                                                                                               Assam Board will announce the Assam HS result 2025 tentatively in May 2025. Last year, the result was released on May 9, 2024. After the result declaration, students can collect their original mark sheets from their respective schools in person. The result of the Assam AHSEC exams 2025 comprises of candidate’s name, roll number, subject-wise marks, overall score, and qualifying status.

                                                                                                                              The eligibility for engineering candidates are 1) they must have scored at least 60% in class 12. 2) Candidates must have completed their 12th in science stream with maths, physics and chemistry as a part of their subjects.

                                                                                                                              You do not need to reappear for all the exams. You can appear only for the subjects that are main in the eligibility for engineering. The main subjects are Physics, Chemistry and Maths.  You can appear for these examinations only and also if you are sure that these subjects plus the other subjects included will give you a percentage of more than 60% then you don't have to give any other exam.
